Mango AI is an online AI video generator developed by Mango Animate. Its Talking Photo AI turns a front-facing portrait and text or audio into a speaking video, with mouth movements that follow the speech.
A brand can use Talking Photo AI and an existing portrait to create a promotional clip for a product page. An educator can pair a photo with a brief explanation of a lesson topic. In both cases, users create the speaking clip without filming the person delivering the message.
Talking Photo AI offers two models: Mango AI 1.0 for faster generation at standard video quality, and Mango AI 2.0 for higher video quality and body movements. Both support microphone recordings and uploaded audio in MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, or OPUS format. Mango AI 1.0 also accepts typed text, which supplies the words the portrait speaks in the clip.
Users upload a JPG, JPEG, PNG, or WEBP portrait to Talking Photo AI, or use a sample photo. They can remove or change the portrait's background and choose a natural, happy, sad, surprised, angry, or serious expression. Users can also use the AI Portrait feature to generate a new portrait from their uploaded photo and use the result in the clip.
With the text option in Mango AI 1.0, Talking Photo AI lets users choose from AI voices in different languages and accents and insert pauses into the script. They can also choose a Facial Pose setting (None, Small, Medium, or Big) and include subtitles. Talking Photo AI combines lip synchronization with facial animation, aiming to make the person in the photo appear to speak naturally.
After users create a clip with Talking Photo AI, they can download it as an MP4 file, share it on Facebook or X, or copy a link to send to others. They can also embed the video on a website, placing the talking avatar alongside product details, lesson notes, or other relevant page content.

Alongside its Talking Photo AI, Mango AI has recently introduced an Article to Video tool that turns written articles into videos with AI narration and visuals. It includes options for video templates, AI avatars, background music, and subtitles.
