TURNING POINT COMMUNITY CHURCH TO CELEBRATE EASTER AT BUDDY HOLLY HALL
Lubbock, TX – April 10, 2025 – Turning Point Community Church is preparing for a powerful and uplifting Easter celebration by gathering at Buddy Holly Hall on Sunday, April 20, 2025, for two special services at 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM. For the second consecutive year, the church will move its Easter services to this larger venue to accommodate the growing number of attendees and create an opportunity for even more people to come together in worship.
Senior Pastor Chuck Angel expressed excitement about returning to Buddy Holly Hall, stating, “Last year was an incredible experience for our faith family as we celebrated Easter at Buddy Holly Hall, and we can't wait to do it again! Whether you joined us last time or will be visiting for the first time, we welcome you with open arms.”
Attendees can expect a warm and welcoming atmosphere, powerful worship, and an inspiring Easter message celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The event is free to attend, thanks to the generous giving of the Turning Point church community. The church encourages members and visitors alike to invite friends, family, and neighbors to take part in this special celebration.
For families attending, Turning Point Community Church has thoughtfully prepared engaging and age-appropriate experiences for children. Nursery care will be available for children from birth to age four, ensuring that parents can participate in the main service with peace of mind. The Kids Ministry Team has also designed a unique and interactive production specifically for children ages five through fifth grade, offering a heartwarming and Christ-centered message tailored to younger audiences.
The success of last year’s Easter services was made possible by over 300 dedicated volunteers, who helped welcome and care for the 4,060 attendees at Buddy Holly Hall. With continued growth, the church is now seeking more than 400 volunteers to assist in various roles this year, ensuring a welcoming and seamless experience for all guests. Those interested in serving are encouraged to sign up and become part of this impactful day.
Turning Point Community Church is committed to making Easter services accessible to everyone. Buddy Holly Hall complies with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards, providing accommodations for individuals with disabilities. The church is dedicated to ensuring that all guests feel comfortable, included, and able to fully participate in the Easter celebration.
As Easter approaches, Turning Point Community Church invites all members of the Lubbock community to join in this time of worship, reflection, and celebration of new life. Whether attending for the first time or as a returning guest, all are welcome to experience the hope and joy of Easter in a powerful way.
