This new establishment marks another milestone in Urban Bird’s mission to deliver bold flavors and quality comfort food across the Lone Star State.
Founded in 2020 by partners Brandon and Chantel Gawthorp, Urban Bird has quickly gained popularity for its all-natural Halal chicken, free from antibiotics and hormones. The menu features a variety of offerings, including tenders, sandwiches, chicken and waffles, and the fan-favorite Urban Fries—fries topped with mac and cheese, Nashville Hot Chicken, and signature Bird Sauce. Customers can customize their heat levels, ranging from “Country” (no heat), to “Fire in the Hole!”
The Arlington location operates with extended hours to cater to late-night cravings:
- Monday – Thursday: 10:30 AM – 1:00 AM
- Friday – Saturday: 10:30 AM – 3:00 AM
- Sunday: 10:30 AM – 10:30 PM
This opening is part of Urban Bird’s aggressive expansion plan, with 10 additional locations slated to open across Texas in 2025, including upcoming sites in Houston, San Antonio and Killeen, TX. The brand also recently began franchising, inviting entrepreneurs to join in bringing Urban Bird’s unique offerings to new communities.
